OnePlus recently launched the second generation of Bullets Wireless headphones and its latest flagship OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. The Bullets Wireless 2 have a lot riding on their shoulders, but after intensive testing, the Bullets Wireless 2 headphones proved themselves to be remarkable.
To keep it short, OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 sounds amazing, and the price doesn’t get any better. The headphones house a pair of balanced armature Knowles drivers and a dynamic driver, provide Qualcomm’s aptX HD codec compatibility, and can connect to multiple devices via Bluetooth v5.0. I can guarantee that there are better alternatives than One Plus Bullets Wireless 2 with the same specifications. However, I’m sure it would be nearly impossible to find a deal as cheap as this one. In terms of price and quality, these neckband headphones rank at the top.

On the onset, one can immediately notice that the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 doesn’t deviate too far from its predecessor’s design. The cable includes a remote control with three buttons, including a central multifunction button that handles playback, call management, and track navigation, while the plus/minus button controls volume.
We haven’t noticed any IP rating label regarding resistance against water that would protect the OnePlus’ Bullet Wireless 2 from water; however, the manufacturer claims they’re “waterproof for everyday use.” In the end, the neckband headphones showed that it can withstand sweat and water droplets.
Bluetooth & Technology
Additionally, if you’re using an OnePlus smartphone, the headphones will automatically return to playing music as soon as you unlocked it. A ‘quick’ button equipped on the cord allows for quick re-pairing to the last device used, or to turn on pairing mode when held down.
Press and hold the multifunction button to activate the phone’s voice assistant. The quick switch button, which allows the user to switch between two different paired devices by pressing the button twice, is also adopted from older models to the new Bullets Wireless 2.

To recharge the headphones, the Bullets Wireless 2 were supplied with a USB Type-C cable; however, the headphones can also be charged via Warp Charge technology.
A mindblowing aspect about OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 is that the earphones require just 10 minutes of charge to play over 10 hours of music. That’s how fast the “Quick Charge” feature refills your headphone’s battery. On the other hand, you’re required to charge the headphones for 1 hour for the battery to be full.
Sound Quality
The Bullet Wireless 2 favors the lower-end of the spectrum, though, unlike various other bass-oriented headphones, the sound response is somewhat balanced. Despite their impact, the music has minimal distortion and doesn’t degrade when the volume level is pushed high.
The vocals and mid-range instruments are also tuned up superbly. When it comes to rock or metal songs, the electric guitar is well reproduced, clean, and presents an impeccable sound even at higher volumes. The imaging or instrumental representation on the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 is excellent, and the headphones can comfortably deliver multiple instruments to the user at the same time.
The soundstage is as airy as it is vented, but I did have difficulty perceiving the track spatially’s instruments. Inside each earpiece has two Knowles balanced armature drivers and a 10mm dynamic driver, a nice treatment.
OnePlus Bullet Wireless 2 offers solid bass depth and no distortion. When the volume is slightly raised, bass depth is well-maintained and strong, the overall reproduction of the sound is properly balanced by a fair amount of mid-range and high-frequency sounds.
Conclusion
After testing and listening to the Bullets Wireless 2, the neckband headphones don’t give us any reason to complain, whether in the comfort department or in-ear stability. Thanks to the device’s redesigned headphones, the earpieces could better accommodate inside the ears, whereas listening to music for hours worked out smoothly.
