For a Bluetooth headset, Cowin E7 is a quite light headset and therefore very pleasant to use. In terms of comfort, it is well above average. These headphones don’t have active noise canceling, but they still protect you quite well from the noise around you, and as far as sound quality is concerned, Cowin E7 play music quite well, with balanced and warm sound reproduction and powerful bass that doesn’t disturb the rest of the audio spectrum.
Similar to Cowin E7 ANC, this model comes with a micro USB charging cable, a 3.5mm audio cable, a protective leather pouch, and a user manual. Cowin E7 can work both as wireless headphones, connecting to devices via Bluetooth, and wired, thanks to a cable with a jack – which is not the norm at all. The protective case of Cowin E7 is a leather pouch that the manufacturer thought will protect the device against scratches.
Some like headsets that do not go unnoticed, like the Astro Gaming A40, and some prefer more understated but modern models. If you are in the latter case, the Cowin E7 Bluetooth headset will seduce you. It is indeed sober, modern, and elegant without overdoing it.
For a Bluetooth headset, Cowin E7 is a light headset and therefore very pleasant to use. In terms of comfort, it is well above average. You can wear it to play or listen to music for hours. You will forget you have it on your head.
The Cowin E7 headset is composed of a padded and adjustable headband that adapts to your head. The ear cushions provide long-lasting comfort and won’t squeeze the ears, as is often the case with many models. The earpads of the headphones, therefore, fits the contour of your ears. Each earcup can also be rotated to adjust as closely as possible to your ears.
These headphones don’t have active noise canceling, but they still protect you quite well from the noise around you. For a pair of headphones that lack the noise-canceling features, we find that everything that happens around you when you listen to music is not that bothersome.
If you don’t like headsets with a boom mic, all the better because the Cowin E7 has a built-in mic. Light to play for hours and to be easily transported by people who travel, comfortable, and has good aesthetics.
If some headsets require that we read the instructions 3 or 4 times to fully understand how to use them, this is not the case with this Cowin E7. Here we find a triangle-shaped button on the front of the right earcup and a switch control button that enables/disables Bluetooth pairing. Therefore, you must put the button on Bluetooth to turn on the headset by pressing in the middle of the large triangle button.
A light will blink blue when searching for the source, and it will glow when the connection is made. The triangle button adjusts the volume by pressing the + or -, which are at the triangle’s top and bottom.
You can go to the next song or go back to the previous one by pressing the + and – buttons twice. The buttons’ contact is not exceptional, and we often tend to change songs when we want to turn up the sound. It will probably take some getting used to the handling.
This headset can be used with your smartphone so you can answer calls with its built-in microphone. You can also use it to talk to your teammates while playing on your console. An integrated microphone is more practical than a boom mic, but it must be recognized that the quality is lower.
Therefore, the integrated microphone is not the strong point of this headset because, during calls, our interlocutors had difficulty hearing us.
This Cowin E7 gaming headset is, therefore, Bluetooth. No problem on that side since it easily detects the device with which you want to connect it. If you don’t want to use this function, know that it comes with a 3.5mm jack cable of 1.2m.
Pairing is relatively easy by keeping the middle of the triangle button pressed for a few seconds. The headset will then appear on your list of Bluetooth devices, and you just have to validate it. If you have an NFC compatible device, just touch your smartphone to the right earpiece, and the connection should be made automatically.
The Bluetooth connection is then very stable, and you can move more than 10 meters away from the audio source. It is average. I had the right to 2 cuts in 3 days after a few tens of minutes of listening. It was then necessary to pair the headset again at the source. I do not know where it comes from.
Autonomy is, of course, super important when you buy a wireless gaming headset. The brand of this Cowin E7 headset promised us an exceptional battery life of 30 hours. Which seemed like an exaggeration to us, but it turns out it really is.
All the reviews we have read on this Cowin gaming headset’s autonomy confirm our view. One somewhat negative aspect is that it requires 3 hours to recharge it. Note that to charge it, simply connect it with the USB cable supplied with the headset. Rest assured, you can continue to play while you recharge it. If you were looking above all for a headset this cheap with good battery life, you would hardly find better!
The audio qualities of this cheap Bluetooth headset are a nice surprise. Cowin E7 is also doing quite well in games and music. Indeed, we are far from the immersion of a SteelSeries Arctis 7 or HyperX Cloud Alpha, but we still have a good stereo sound that allows you to locate yourself correctly in the virtual space of our Game.
We usually have doubts about gaming headsets for less than 50 dollars, but here, the sound is more than correct, even if it is not exceptional. The whole is relatively homogeneous. You will appreciate its audio qualities to listen to your favorite music, watch a movie, and, of course, hear your opponents during an online game.
These headphones play music quite well, with balanced and warm sound reproduction and powerful bass that doesn’t disturb the rest of the audio spectrum. It has enough power to deliver your music loud even if, at its maximum volume, there is a significant distortion. For the price, it’s a good all-rounder, which I can recommend.
Cowin E7 is a model that offers beautiful qualities for a very low price. The sound quality is clearly adequate for its price. It is comfortable and light, effortless to use. It is equipped with Bluetooth function, which is efficient in speed, allowing you to connect this headset to another device, provided that both are nearby.
Its design was well chosen by the manufacturer. If you are a person who values sobriety, this device will suit you with its black color. However, these cheap wireless headphones also have another charming side, apart from its design. The low price, which makes Cowin E7 highly accessible to the public.
