The product packaging matches the brand’s style, painted in black and red, the package has been aesthetically designed and suits the style of the product. , also fits the style of product competition. The front shows pictures of the product, and various instructions, whilst the back reveals the product.

Inside the package are supplied only the essential: the headset itself, a 2.4 GHz transmitter, a detachable microphone, a Mini-USB cable for charging.

HyperX Cloud Flight uses a lightweight design, and simultaneously, quite sturdy construction that withstands twists and drops.

The headband and headset pads adopt a leather exterior that envelops the memory foam material on the inside. The result is a beautiful pair of earcups with thick paddings that reduce sound leakage and deliver an immersive sound experience. The downside of such thick earpads is the reduced permeability, making your ears prone to sweating during hot summers.

The headset’s frame is all matte black plastic, though the earcups’ body has a texture similar to that of leather. The connection point between the headband and the ear cups is properly handled. The collapsible ear cups have a 90-degree folding mechanism that makes the headsets easy to store in a carrying case (too bad HyperX didn’t include one in the package).

The detachable microphone is adjustable and can be taken off easily. Microphone jack, power switch, audio cable jack, and the charging jack are located under the left earcup. The headband and ear cups are made of blacked-out steel with a sliding mechanism in the middle.

The headset provides 2.4G wireless support only, without any Bluetooth module, it can be connected to the PC wirelessly. However, when it comes to other gaming console platforms such as smart mobiles, you have to connect the headphones via a wired cord. It is quite unfortunate that if you want to connect to your iPhone, you’ll have to use an additional Micro-USB Type C adapter. Note also that the headset microphone and volume control only work when connected wirelessly to the sound source.

HyperX Cloud Flight operates on 2.4 GHz band, a wireless channel used by most devices. Concerning the Bluetooth functionality, in an environment where many devices are connected via wireless, the wireless transmission of Cloud Flight might be affected. And knowing that the headsets have a weak connectivity mechanism that renders the microphone and volume control wheel useless, it’s rather disappointing.

The wireless gaming headset HyperX Cloud Flight is equipped with two 50 mm neodymium-magnet drivers, the frequency response range of the headset is 20Hz-20000Hz for wireless transmission and 15Hz-20000Hz for wired communication. The impedance of 32 Ohms assures easy compatibility with most devices.

The gaming headset offers accurate positioning, immersive surround effect, and performance for the game and sound scene in terms of sound quality. The headset’s immersive sound is amazing, you can immerse yourself in the game environment. But for the daily use of audio and video, high frequency is not outstanding, the frequency is still acceptable, low-end frequencies are weak.

The Hyper X Cloud Flight doesn’t enjoy the same treatment as the Cloud Alpha, which benefits from a dual-chamber internal design that highly improves the acoustics in the lower end of the spectrum. However, both headphones look similar in style, whereas the harmonic distortion rate remains low (less than 2%). The overall sound is great, authentic, and not rough at all. When connected via the wireless USB transmitter, the audio is properly reproduced, vibrant, and offers an excellent soundstage and great dynamics. Imaging and the acoustic positioning are also well-maintained, making the Hyper X Cloud Flight wireless headsets a fantastic contender among most wireless gaming headphones despite its lack of Hi-Res codecs. Its sound quality in the game headset is first-class, which makes these headsets even better for gaming.

Cloud Flight wireless gaming headset perpetuates HyperX headset product’s traditional packaging design, an elegant layout coupled in red and black color palette presenting a very professional and visual gaming experience.

The USB wireless headset Cloud Flight was launched by HyperX in 2018, and it can still be regarded as high-quality gaming headsets today. The HyperX Cloud operates quite well for a USB wireless gaming headset, it suffers virtually no latency through the 2.4g wireless connection and can be enjoyed thoroughly.

The HyperX Cloud Flight wireless gaming headset remains one of the most common HyperX over-ear gaming headset. However, its construction is more similar to the Cloud Stinger Stinger, with the earcups supporting a multi-axis swivel adjustment for the user’s comfort.
